Mucky Pups
A local dog grooming company based in Hampshire
The idea
In 2014, Callie came to me with a plan that she wanted to start her very own dog grooming company but she needed to create a brand for her company, and a way to get her company known in the local area.
What I did
We both spent some time brainstorming and thinking about what the name of the business could be. Once we were happy with Mucky Pups it was then over to me to think about what the branding would look like. From here I then started working on it’s online presence, putting together a basic website, that would require minimum maintenance.
We then both set up a Facebook page to not only show off the services of Mucky Pups but to also gain new customers and get the business noticed. Along with this I also produced a selection of marketing material; such as advertisements for local magazines and newspapers, posters and leaflets to put in the local vets, and flyers for Callie to hand out to other dog walkers out on on her daily dog walks.

The other stuff
When Mucky Pups was up and running, we decided to experiment with a number of things, such as me designing appointment cards and loyalty cards for the Mucky Pups clients. Once Christmas I even designed custom Mucky Pups Christmas cards.
For a short 6 months or so, we even ventured into new territory setting up an online store for doggie accessories like bowls and collars. I built this using Shopify and we linked it with the Mucky Pups website. Unfortunately Callie decide to shut this down as she found she made more of these sales when clients came for their grooming appointments.
